The emotional moment a British Transport Police officer was proposed to by her girlfriend has been filmed and posted on Twitter.
Crowds cheer, people clap and the officer’s colleagues can be seen shouting in celebration as the woman goes down on one knee.
The short video is everything that’s great about Pride.
Of course, the officer said yes – and the happy couple’s engagement was sealed by a hug as people nearby whipped out their phones to capture the moment.
Thousands of people have descended on the capital for the colourful celebration.
Christos Androcos told Metro.co.uk: ‘This is the first time I’ve been to Pride and the first time I’ve ever felt proud to come out.
‘I’ve not come looking for anything but found everything. I love everything here.’
Meanwhile, the Mayor of London celebrated the event in an address to the crowd.
Sadiq Khan said: ‘We’ve had a horrible last few weeks. We’ve had terror, we’ve had tragedy. You know what the best antidote to sorrow, the best antidote to sadness, to bereavement, to hatred, is Pride In London.’
