A riled Floyd Mayweather aimed a homophobic slur at Conor McGregor during a fiery final press conference at Wembley Arena in London ahead of the duo's big-money showdown next month.

The American called his rival a 'f****t' in front of a hostile crowd in the capital featuring lots of travelling Irishmen.

It comes amid a race storm with McGregor being accused of being disrespectful towards Mayweather based on the colour of his skin, an accusation the first-ever two-weight UFC champ vehemently denies.

UFC supremo Dana White backed his fighter, saying: "Everybody is talking about the racial thing then Conor says about being black from the belly button down but he’s not racist.
