Lagos Police Issues Statement How Movie Producer Seun Egbegbe was Caught Trying to Steal N10 million from Man

The Lagos State police has released a statement how chronic thief and movie producer, Seun Egbegbe on Thursday tried to swindle N10 million from a Bureau de Change operator before he was caught.

He was arrested and is currently under detention at Area H, Ogudu, Lagos over the incident. It was gathered that Egbegbe had gone to Gbagada with some of his friends under the guise that he wanted to change some dollars.

He lied that he was a medical doctor at Gbagada General Hospital, asking the BDC operator to come there for his money later. However, when he was unable to provide an identity card to support his claim, the operator was said to have raised an alarm, attracting others who had him beaten before handing him over to the police.
