Presidency has been denied CAN an audience - CAN

Christian body in Nigeria, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has revealed that the Buhari government of denying them audience to brainstorm on how best to solve some challenges facing the country today.

The President of the Youth Wing of CAN (YOWICAN) Engr. Daniel Kadzai, made this known when he spoke with Vanguard in Abuja.

He said it’s untrue, the insinuation that it was not pragmatic enough in responding to issues that concern Christians in the country.

He insisted that it had been standing up for Christian’s course, though government’s disposition to some of the issues affecting them have not been encouraging.

The man (Ayokunle) just took over the mantle of leadership and he met crisis on ground. He is up and doing to stabilize the system to be able to address the common problems we are facing as a body. He has talked on several issues that affect Christians since assumption of office since last year July. “Secondly, he has made attempts to see the President of this country to table some challenges that had bedevilled the nation and the challenges facing the Christendom.

“Unfortunately, the Federal Government is not willing to see the CAN President because of one reason or the others.”

Wondering why the President of CAN need to struggle to see the President to have peaceful coexistence in the country, Kadzai made it clear that “CAN is not in contention with anybody. CAN is focusing on ensuring the liberty and freedom for its members to worship across the country.
